1. Send your request
Email privacy@useloyalloop.com with the subject Data deletion request. Write from an email address connected to your account where possible.
Please include only what we need to find the relevant records:
- your name and the email address or phone number connected to Loyal Loop;
- the business or shop name, if the request concerns a business workspace;
- an order, receipt, delivery, or support reference when the request concerns a specific interaction; and
- whether you want a particular record removed or want to close and delete the whole account.
Do not email us a password, verification code, access token, full bank details, or identity document unless we specifically request a safe verification step.
2. WhatsApp and Meta-related requests
If you received a Loyal Loop WhatsApp message, include the destination number and enough context to identify the message purpose, such as verification, receipt, delivery, reminder, or support. We may retain a minimal suppression record after deletion so that an opted-out number is not messaged again.
Removing or deleting information from Loyal Loop does not delete information held independently by Meta, WhatsApp, Twilio, a shop, or another provider. Use the privacy controls offered by that service for information it controls. Loyal Loop does not currently offer Facebook Login or let shops connect their own Facebook or Instagram accounts to customer records.
3. Verification and completion
We may ask for a reasonable verification step before changing or deleting information, especially where a request affects a business workspace, transaction history, another person, or a phone-only account. After verification, we will confirm the request and handle it within the period required by applicable law. If we need more information or cannot remove a record immediately, we will explain why and what happens next.
4. Information we may need to keep
We delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed. Limited transaction evidence, complaint records, security logs, fraud-prevention records, legal holds, backups, tax or compliance records, and suppression entries may be retained where required or permitted by law. Retained information remains limited to the relevant purpose and is not kept for unrelated marketing.
